At first, the back door-the door used to put a go kart inside-looked easy. Straighten out this bent part where the hydraulic lifter bolted on, bolt down the door via its flanges. Easy, right? Well, no.
This is what the bent area looked like from the inside of the trailer.
Attempting to straighten the door resulted in this. Turns out the plywood was completely rotten. The hydraulic lifter simply smashed clean through the rotten plywood.
It's just as well, since most of the innards of the door turned out to be styrofoam anyway. There's no way I could have bolted 2x4's and masonite to this.
This is the smashed out portion of the door. As you can see, this door was just thin plywood and styrofoam. It will be replaced with something a lot sturdier.
Another pic of the smashed out part. The entire door was so rotten that the plywood crumbled in my fingers.
